Personal Information Protection Policy

Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. respects the dignity of individuals and the usefulness of information when handling customers' personal information in the course of business operations.
In compliance with the law and social order, we will strive to protect personal information through appropriate management in accordance with internal rules and regulations.

1. Compliance with laws and regulations and continuous improvement of the management system
Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. complies with all laws and regulations regarding personal information, and has established internal systems and regulations and operates this system in an effective manner for the protection of personal information and strives for continuous improvement.

2. Acquisition and use
Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. shall clearly define the purpose of acquisition of personal information within the scope of its legitimate business activities, and shall acquire and use personal information in a lawful and fair manner with the prior consent of the individual or corporation to the extent necessary to achieve that purpose.
In addition, we will not provide personal information to third parties (including third parties located in foreign countries) unless we have your prior consent, there are special provisions in laws and regulations, or there are other legitimate reasons.

3. Handling of anonymously processed information
When Isaka Electric creates or provides anonymously processed information as stipulated in the Personal Information Protection Law, we will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations and handle personal information appropriately.

4. Ensuring accuracy and safety
In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. will endeavor to keep the personal information in its possession accurate and up-to-date, and will take appropriate and reasonable safety measures to protect personal information against risks such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage.

5. Customer service
Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. will promptly investigate and appropriately respond to any request from a customer who is the owner of personal information regarding his/her personal information.

Handling of personal information

Isaka Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") shall properly manage personal information of customers, business partners, subcontractors, and employees in accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Policy" and shall make efforts to protect personal information. Specifically, the Company will handle personal information in accordance with the following

1. Acquisition and use of personal information
When acquiring and using personal information handled by all businesses and personal information of employees, etc., the Company will clarify the purpose of use, handle personal information appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purpose of use, and will not use the information for any other purpose.
In the unlikely event that the information is to be used for a purpose other than the purpose in question, or in the unlikely event that the purpose of use itself is to be changed, prior notice will be given.
Personal information that is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected will be promptly and appropriately deleted or destroyed.

2. Disclosure and provision of personal information to third parties
The Company will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties (including third parties located in foreign countries), except in the following cases

  2. (2) When we outsource all or part of the work related to the handling of personal information
    However, in this case, the Company will endeavor to appropriately supervise the contractor by concluding an agreement on the protection of personal information with the contractor.

  5. (5) When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
  6. (6) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an entity entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the person in question is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
  7. (7) When a warrant of permission for search and seizure is issued by a court of law through regular procedures based on the law (Criminal Procedure Law) for criminal investigation.

3. Creation and provision of anonymously processed information
When creating anonymously processed information, the Company will take the following actions.

  1. (1) Appropriate processing is performed to make it impossible to identify specific individuals.
  2. (2) Take safety management measures to prevent information leaks.
  3. (3) Disclose the items of information included in the anonymously processed information.
  4. (4) Do not match the created anonymously processed information with other information in order to identify the person.

When providing anonymously processed information to a third party, the Company will publicly announce the items of personal information included in the information and the method of provision, and clearly indicate to the third party that the information is anonymously processed information.

4. Management of personal information
The Company will properly manage the personal information provided in accordance with laws, regulations, norms and internal rules regarding personal information.
In addition, we will take appropriate and reasonable safety measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage.
In the unlikely event that a problem should occur, we will strive to minimize the damage and implement corrective measures as soon as possible.

5. Personal information obtained in connection with personnel and recruitment
The purposes of use of personal information obtained from applicants for employment selection and those who have been employed by the Company are as follows.

  1. (1) Consideration and decision on employment, sending of employment-related documents
  2. (2) Labor management, payment of salaries, bonuses, etc., and communication with and provision to unions, cooperative organizations, affiliated companies, transferred-to companies, etc.
  3. (3) Notifications and reports to government and municipal offices
  4. (4) Compliance and communication with labor-related laws and regulations
  5. (5) Sending of contact documents

6. Requests for disclosure of personal information
In the event that the Company receives a request from an individual or his/her representative for disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of the personal information provided by the individual, the Company will respond to the request within a reasonable period and scope after confirming the identity of the requesting individual.
However, we will not disclose the information in the following cases. If we decide not to disclose the information, we will notify you of the decision with the reason.

  1. (1) When the identity of the person who holds the personal data cannot be confirmed
  2. (2) In the case of an application by an agent, if the agent's authority of representation cannot be confirmed
  3. (3) In case the application document is incomplete or the request is not made in accordance with the Company's acceptance method
  4. (4) When the subject of the request for disclosure, etc. does not fall under the category of retained personal data
  5. (5) When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property or other rights and interests of the person in question or a third party
  6. (6) When there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of the Company's business
  7. (7) When it would violate other laws and regulations.
  8. (8) Other cases in which we are not obligated to disclose, etc. based on the Personal Information Protection Law.
